The Embrace is a women’s retreat for the women who feel a lot, hold a lot, support others a lot. On this retreat you’ll be supported to live less from your head and more from your body. You’ll be supported to digest old cycles of stress and emotion and tune in to the wisdom of your body. You’ll be guided to cultivate greater nervous system stability and self-trust, so you return home feeling grounded, clear and deeply connected with yourself and your body.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR RETREAT EXPERIENCE
You arrive at a secluded retreat, surrounded by native trees and the soothing hum of nature. The air feels lighter, cleaner and as you step into the property, the idyllic location instantly invites you to relax.
Mornings begin with gentle meditation and yoga, encouraging movement of energy through your body. Experience Vedic rounding – a combination of yoga asana, breathwork and meditation to help your body to access a deeply restful state.
Nourishing, freshly prepared meals follow to energise your body and leave you feeling balanced and satisfied. Our on-site chefs prepare delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Your afternoons are yours to savour – you can unwind on a lounger by the pool, journal or read in a private reading nook, take a peaceful nature walk or connect with Caroline and the other women. There’s no pressure, no rush – just the freedom to listen to what you want in the moment.
Each day, you’ll be guided in several somatic (body-led) practices that help you to digest incomplete cycles of stress and emotion (from life experiences that left charge or “residue” behind in your body) and awaken innate and primal ways of being. After each practice, you feel more empowered to be yourself, more grounded and at peace within your own body.
Throughout the retreat, you’ll connect with other women who “get” you - women who are also wanting to live more in their bodies and experience greater presence in their life. You’ll share stories, laughter and quiet moments of understanding in a group where you feel truly seen, hear, understood and supported.
By evening, you’ll feel more connected to yourself—your body, your voice, your wants and needs. You’ll feel seen and understood in ways that feel deeply nourishing to every part of you. Each day peels back layers of density, leaving you with a renewed sense of peace of mind, steadiness and self acceptance.
You’ll leave the retreat rested, steady and with the knowledge and experience to bring this newfound clarity, self-connection and grounding into everyday life.

What’s included:
🌴 Daily guided somatic (body led) practices. Think of these like a gentle guided practice that guides you to be more in your body, in the here and now.
🌴 Vedic Meditation instruction (if you’re new to it) and ongoing support with meditation beyond the retreat. (Please note, we will not be meditating for hours a day - unless you really want to!)
🌴 Daily gentle yoga & breathwork, suitable for all levels of experience. Not focused on achieving fancy poses but rather on being grounded in your own body.
🌴 5 nights, 6 days stunning luxury Balinese accommodation in a Single or Double Occupancy room with ensuite, air conditioning, ceiling fan & daily room servicing.
🌴 Airport transfers to and from Ubud.
🌴 Ancient sound healing, Balinese cooking class, hot and cold outdoor spring pools.
🌴 Delicious vegetarian organic meals and snacks, unlimited filtered water and tea. Gluten free and dairy free dietary requirements can be accommodated.
🌴 1x restorative 60-minute Balinese massage to support your relaxation.
🌴 A printed workbook with mind-body practices and journaling prompts to support you post retreat.
🌴 Personalised support from Caroline if and when desired, for the duration of the retreat.
What’s Not included:
🌴 Flights to and from Bali.
🌴 Your visa, payable on arrival in Bali (approx. $50 AUD).
🌴 Personal shopping items.
🌴 Snacks or chai/coffees from the on-site cafe outside of the three, plentiful meals per day.
🌴 Any additional spa treatments at the on-site spa (these are very affordable in AUD).

· Location: The Shala Bali, a serene retreat centre in a quiet, peaceful part of Ubud, Bali far removed from the usual hustle and bustle.
· Capacity: An intimate retreat for no more than 12 women.
